Yoni Steaming At Home

Yoni steaming is a very relaxing meditative practice that has been around for decades. You can steam 2-3 times a month, preferably 2. It is great to steam after your cycle and after you ovulate. Remember, if you are on your cycle or PREGNANT you cannot steam.


  1. Pour 6-8 cups of water into a pot

  2. Pour your yoni steam herbs into the pot. Cover with a lid.

  3. Boil your herbs for 5-10 minutes.

  4. Turn off the heat and let sit for 3-5 minutes. Be CAREFUL

  5. You use a pot, a bowl , a sit bath pan, or an actual steam box. ( Amazon has them for a good price).

  6. Be sure to have a towel to drape over you to trap the steam.

  7. Remove your underwear and sit directly over the steam. Be careful not to burn yourself.

  8. Now you relax. Read a book, play some soothing music, pray, mediate , whatever you choose to do. You’ll need to sit there for at least 30 minutes.
